Level 4.0 | Digital Innovation Hub Wrocław

Dear User, we would like to inform you how we will process your personal data and indicate the purpose for which they are to serve. In this way, we fulfill our obligation towards you, which results from the general regulation on the protection of personal data, the so-called RODO. Accordingly, we would like you to know the following below:

1. Why and who processes your personal data?

Your data is processed in order to implement the project „Standaryzacja usług Hubów Innowacji Cyfrowych dla wsparcia cyfrowej transformacji przedsiębiorstw” implemented as part of the Program of the Minister of Development for 2019-2021 p. „Przemysł 4.0” („Program”), by members of the consortium established for this purpose: Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, University of Economics in Wrocław, Wrocław Technology Park SA, Balluff Sp. Z oo and TestArmy Group SA. This project is carried out under the Program called: Level 4.0 I Digital Innovation Hub Wrocław and it consists in providing digital transformation support services, including demonstration, consulting, implementation, training and education as well as information and promotion activities.

The administrator of personal data processed for this purpose is the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology with its seat in Wrocław, 50-370, Stanisława Wyspiańskiego 27. The administrator can be contacted in writing to the address of the seat, but also electronically via the form on the website of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. The administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via e-mail: iod@pwr.edu.pl

2. Type of processed data:

We will process personal data in order to inform about the offer of our services and the conditions of their provision, as well as when running our profile / fanpage on social media, for sending a newsletter, conducting surveys, sending invitations and in other forms of direct communication – including using social-media, e-mail, instant messaging and in traditional correspondence (hereinafter referred to jointly as “informing about our activities”).

Depending on the case, we will process the following categories of personal data obtained directly from you:

  1. Data identifying your person (mainly names and surnames, academic title or degree, honorary title, etc. and data about the entity that employs you and directs you to us, and if we enter into a contract with you – also such data such as address and PESEL number);
  2. Contact details (correspondence address and e-mail or telephone number needed for the preparation of meetings and confirmation of organizational information);
  3. Career data (function or position held, name and address of the company or sole proprietorship, institution or organizational unit);

We will also need some non-confidential information about the company (name, seat, NIP / REGON numbers) and statistical data (industry, employment). If it is necessary at a later time to provide digital transformation support services, fulfill the obligation arising from the law or the concluded contract, we reserve the right to supplement the information about the processing of your data or ask you for additional information.

The provision of data is voluntary, although failure to do so makes it impossible to provide digital transformation support services to you.

3. The basis for the processing of personal data:

As a rule, we will process your personal data in connection with the performance of our business contracts for the provision of digital transformation support services. Basically, the premise for data processing is your consent (in connection with Article 6 (1) (a) of the RODO Regulation. If an agreement was concluded with you (e.g. a confidentiality or similar agreement), the necessary data processing for this purpose will be subject to the rules described here: http://biznes.pwr.edu.pl/badania-i-rozwoj/przetwarzanie-danych-osobowych.

If it is necessary to process such data in connection with the legitimate interest of the administrator, the premise for the processing of your data will be based on art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f of the regulation RODO.

4. The period of personal data processing

Your personal data will be processed in order to inform about our activities indefinitely, but no longer than until the consent for processing for this purpose is withdrawn. After this period, the data will be deleted, unless its further storage would be an obligation resulting from legal provisions.

5. Storage of your personal data

To ensure protection at the level guaranteed by the RODO, your personal data will not be transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area.

6. Recipients of your personal data

As part of our business, the Administrator will share personal data with third parties – in particular with other members of the consortium providing services and processing personal data in order to perform specific activities for the Consortium Leader or on his behalf. We will base it on entrusting the processing of personal data to the Administrator for our processors.

We may also, in necessary cases (if it cannot be avoided), provide some personal data to entities providing us with services related to IT support, hardware or software maintenance. 

The ministry responsible for the implementation of this project is a separate recipient of such data, which will be included in the attendance lists at our trainings and meetings, which is to be a tool for the consortium’s settlement of the activities performed for you.

7. Your rights:

Depending on the premise of the processing of personal data, you have specific rights related to this processing and, for example, when consent is the premise for processing, you have the right to withdraw it at any time (the withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent. before its revocation). We will then immediately stop processing the data, but if there is any other condition, further processing will be carried out on the basis of the applicable law and a basis other than consent. You also have the right to:

  1. access to personal data,
  2. rectification (correction) of personal data,
  3. transferring data in machine format,
  4. the right to limit the processing and to object to the processing of personal data if these data are unnecessary or processed unlawfully.

The law does not require any specific form or method of communication to exercise your rights, but we encourage you to contact us by e-mail.: rodo@level4dih.pl We reserve the right to verify your identity if it proves necessary in the future and we will try to use the information you provide to us for this purpose.

You can also object to direct marketing (the right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes). However, we encourage you to subscribe to the list of people receiving information or newsletters from us – you can always unsubscribe from it in the future.

8. The right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority

If, in your opinion, we process your personal data improperly, you can always contact us as well as lodge a complaint with the supervisory body (the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection).

9. Changes to the rules on the protection of personal data

We will inform you immediately in the event of significant (affecting your rights and obligations) to change the rules for the processing of personal data.

10. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. They are used for statistical purposes, the use of social networking services and improving the availability and quality of content. On websites that require logging in, cookies are used to maintain the user’s session. We use the personal data collected in this way for our own purposes. They may be transferred to other entities for statistical purposes or for the functioning of social networking tools.

 11. Newsletters

Using the Level 4.0 Newsletter | Digital Innovation Hub Wrocław is free. By subscribing to the mailing list, you consent to the processing of your e-mail address for the purpose of delivering the newsletter. We only need your data to deliver the newsletter to the e-mail address provided. They will be stored in our address database until further notice. We will not share them with third parties. You can withdraw your consent to data processing and receiving the newsletter at any time – then we will immediately delete your data from the recipient database. We will not transfer personal data outside the EU, we will not use them for profiling or automated decision making. The processing of data collected for the delivery of the newsletter may be limited at your request at any time.
