Wrocław University of Science and Technology is a college with 75 years of history and experience. The research entity CAMT-FPC (Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Technologies – Fraunhofer Project Center CAMT-FPC) representing Wrocław University of Science and Technology, which plays a key role in in the Level 4.0 project, is a leader in developing and implementing innovative technologies. Together with many academic partners, as well as Polish and foreign companies from the automotive, aviation, medical and pharmaceutical industries, it conducts research in the fields of additive manufacturing technologies, robotization and automation, virtual reality, and learning algorithms.

Wroclaw University of Economics and Business is an important research centre in the field of economic and management sciences, and one of the major economic schools in the country. The University plays an important role in the education of economists and in conducting scientific research. It is an active partner in international scientific and didactic contacts and has a vast and long-lasting tradition of economic practice cooperation. Currently the University carries out over 40 projects, including 3 in the prestigious Horizon 2020 program. The Information Systems Department which represents the University in the Level 4.0 project together with academic partners and companies in Poland and abroad, conducts research and scientific projects in such areas as development of management IT systems, cybersecurity, blockchain, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, etc.

Wroclaw Technology Park (WPT) is a leading centre for entrepreneurship and new technologies promotion, whose main shareholder is the Municipality of Wroclaw. It focuses on collaboration with companies from the high-tech sector, as well as academic and research centres. Wroclaw Technology Park is experienced in making projects with domestic and foreign partners. The centre has taken part in eight domestic and international projects co-financed by the EU. The WPT has 12 different laboratories, including two dedicated to the digital industry (Laboratory of Data Digitization, Transmission, Storage and Protection and Modelling, Collocation and Hosting Centre).
